Community Outreach

Ridgefield Garden Club’s outreach brings people together through public projects and events. It helps strengthen the community while inspiring a love of gardening.

Downtown Ridgefield Parternship

RGC Outreach has found it deeply rewarding to take part in Ridgefield city events throughout the year. From dressing up for Halloween and Earth Day to connecting with young residents and sharing free plants and seeds, each event has been a joyful opportunity to build community and spark curiosity.

We also welcome neighbors at the Earth Day, Halloween Trick-or-Treat, National Night Out, Get Involved Ridgefield, and Farmers Market booths.

Growing Together After-school Club

This spring 2026, RGC Outreach was delighted to collaborate with Brigid Taylor and Union Ridge Elementray in bringing an after-school garden club to life. K-4 kids learned about growing and caring for a community garden.

Hometown Celebration Centerpiece Project

The Ridgefield Garden Club welcomes everyone to join us during the Hometown Celebration where we provide materials for you to make a holiday centerpiece. All ages are welcome. This is our way of giving back to our community for the support you have shown us throughout the years.
