Membership
Membership in the Ridgefield Garden Club is open to anyone who is interested in gardening and being of service to the community of Ridgefield.
Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month, September through April, at 10 am at the Ridgefield United Methodist Church located at 1410 S. Hillhurst Road in downtown Ridgefield. May through August we have tours and field trips.
A number of service projects are done each year, and as a Club member you are expected to participate. Annual Ridgefield Garden Club projects include the Plant Sale and planting, watering and maintaining the planter boxes in downtown Ridgefield. Also we select a civic
activity each year.
It’s not all work though. We have a lot of fun too! Guest speakers are invited to monthly meetings to share their knowledge on a wide range of subjects that are of interest to gardeners, and several field trips are arranged for members each year. Celebration luncheons are held in May and December.
If you are interested in joining the Ridgefield Garden Club, we invite you to attend a monthly meeting. If you wish to actively participate in our activities and projects, complete the Enrollment Form, pay the annual dues of $20 and you will be a member.
